How Does The Law of Attraction Work?

The whole universe – which includes each one of us, of course – is composed of energy. The universal energy of the law of attraction responds to your thoughts and emotions (which are vibrating energy) to bring to you more of what you are focusing on.
What are you thinking and feeling!? Are you feeling happy, having happy thoughts and emotions? Or are you thinking and feeling unhappy thoughts and having low vibrating emotions such as anger or depression?

 

The L of A does not judge or control you. It simply provides you with more of what you are focusing on – good, bad or indifferent. By controlling your thoughts and feelings about what you desire, it will bring your desires into your reality. This can work for you in all areas of your life – your work, relationships, financial situation. You can create your life as you desire it to be.
meditation-Man Sunset50%However, controlling your thoughts and emotions is not easy to do when you are just starting out on this path. This is where meditation can assist you. (download my free guide about learning how to meditate). The main purpose of meditation is to clear your mind of thoughts. This is done by focusing on something – a special word or phrase (a mantra), a flame, a painting. Then get to a place where your mind has stopped its parade of thoughts… peace.

 

After your 15 to 20 minute meditation, visualize your desires. Imagine you already have your desires in your life. What are you feeling? The vibrations of your emotions are the important factors here. Hold these emotions for at least a little over a minute to impress the law of attraction that these experiences are important to you.

 

Some people find having a vision board helps them visualize more clearly. Others simply refer to a written list. And others use a program called Mind Movies to bring their desires into their visualization on a daily basis.
It is important to put the above practice into your daily ritual. Start with a small desire and work up as you see your results and build your confidence in the process.  Be patient with yourself.

Guided Meditation Scripts

When you are just learning how to meditate, a guided meditation script can help you to relax and go deeper into your meditation. As you become more experienced you will want to go deeper into the  silence of your inner being, connect with your soul, your essence. Meditation Techniques

 

There are audio recordings of guided visualization scripts that you can put on and listen to. Also there are guided meditation scripts you can read to yourself as you relax. For the written ones, it is better if you read and record these, then listen to the script in your own voice. Then you can close your eyes and relax more completely than if you are reading the script to yourself. Plus hearing the script spoken  in your own voice has a greater impact on your subconscious.

 

Most guided meditation scripts initially focus on relaxation and visualization. Part of the relaxation process generally includes observing and controlling your breathing. Slowly breathing deeply into your abdomen and chest, holding for a count and then slowly breathing out. This has an immediate calming effect on your body and your mind.
Following the initial relaxation induction, the script may have you visualize being in a pleasant situation of beauty in nature. This will deepen your relaxation. Or the script may have you preparing your personal inner meditation room where you can go to meditate and seek your inner guidance. Mentor Aid

 

The script may be one that has the specific purpose to manifest better health, increased income, a loving relationship, losing weight, better concentration…and so on. As mentioned above there are guided meditation scrips for anxiety and stress.

 

It is important that you determine what result you are seeking from your meditations. Take some time to contemplate what you want to change in your life.

Negative opinions about money or money-making must also be vigorously expelled from your mind. Self Esteem Exercises – Impossible is Just a Word

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody important. Who hasn’t fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn’t dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, successful, and happy with our relationships? We want to manifest a miracle.

Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, often our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in the attic of our memories.self esteem

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better,

if only we learned to aim higher.

The most common problem when setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking; I can’t do this. It’s too hard. It’s too impossible. No one can do this.

However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishments.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Fortunately for the bumble bee, no one has told it so. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem is impossible. And if you reach too far out into the sky, without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to an impossible dream.

Try this self-esteem exercise.

 Take a piece of paper and write down some goals you have for your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more header, list the things that you regard as ‘impossible for you to do.’female student writing

Now strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them off when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header – the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’

As the items you wrote under ‘things I could do’ are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are’ impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’

The Impossible Begins To Seem Possible

As you go through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high and start working towards those goals little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.

Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard towards it, end up disappointed and disillusioned.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be hard work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you go out out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true…to a certain extent…don’t be ridiculous!

Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you may just find out that the impossible has become possible. So dream on, friend!

Consciousness

We tend to think of our consciousness as the thoughts we think in our brain that is enclosed in our skull within our physical body. However, recent experiments have blown that idea. Experiments were conducted taking a scraping of cells from a subject’s inner cheek and transporting them away from the subject. Then polygraph and EEG equipment were set up to test both subject and the now-separate cells. The subject was then given emotional stimuli.

The results were amazing. The cells responded with instant and identical results – even when the subject and the cells were 300 miles apart. We are much more than physical beings. Our consciousness extends much further than we over thought. In fact, scientists have not yet determined how far we do extend our influence.enlightenment2

We know our thoughts and emotions affect our own bodies. We may make ourselves sick but we can also make ourselves well, healthy and happy using our positive thoughts and emotions. Other experiments have demonstrated that our thoughts coupled with emotions can have an effect on plants. We are all connected through our consciousness.

Now we are learning that through what is called “remote viewing” we can influence another person. Here the person performing this technique must focus their thoughts and strong emotions while visualizing the person they wish to influence, whether it is to assist that person to better health or simply to get the person to call them on the telephone. This takes some practice. It is important to caution practioners that the intent must be positive. The intent and emotion circle back to the practioner and the intent is a shared one. What you send out comes back to you.

It would appear that everything is connected through the universal consciousness and distance is not a factor.
